My opinion on this is you dont actually need to be in a "right environment" alot of poeple are in horrable places and strive to get what they need. Take for ex: inventers. they can be cooped up in a little room with only a laptop and still make great money.

Instead of grumbling and criticizing others for their miseries, if people start taking some positive action to improve their environment, their lives will definitely change for the better. The story underlines an extremely valid truth of life which eludes many people.

To Mr. Harrison Barnes

Sir, I am writing about your recent post "You Need to be in the Right Environment"

But before I can write about your post, I must give you some need background information, in order to "frame" my comments correctly.

NBI	(Needed Background Information)

A while back, I was watching the History Channels "True Crime" series, with Bill Kurtis. I love watching and listening to Bill Kurtis. He looks so "Established" in his dark suit. He speaks so well. And he has good writers! In one particular show, he (or his writers) observed that when people move from one location to another: "They bring their troubles with them.". While the observation is hardly original, it has settled in my brain as a foundation thought, a truism. The same behavior that got people into trouble in the past will get them into trouble in the future. The same type of thinking that got them into trouble in Illinois will also get them into trouble in Utah.

In the post "You Need to be in the Right Environment", You wrote

"In your career, and in your life, you will not succeed unless you are in the ideal environment. It just won’t happen. You will match like oil and water with certain people and you will match like oil and water with certain organizations. If you are not getting the results you want in your life, you need to find a better scene and/or put yourself in a more ideal scene."

I was almost waiting for Paul Harvey to interrupt and say "In a moment, the rest of the story".

Mr. Barnes, you are not telling us the whole truth and ...

My key thought:
The environment, even the best environment is NOT the critical factor, it is the person.

Most of "hero" stories we have, are of people overcoming their environment.

Most of our failure stores that we know of, are of people having some inward problem that defeats them.

Mr. Barnes you need to do some more thinking on this subject.

With good intensions, from a dedicated reader,
