I love how in depth you go about the job search! This is a long read but well worth it in the end. I have the passion but I need to at least direct it to more companies and I am not sure what direction I want to go in.

I have learned from Kevin Donlin the more specific you are the better people can help you. I am considering starting my own business as well or minimal free lancing! My dream job opened up but I really need a direction.

I always use a sales letter with a quote from LI. I am thinking this is going to work well.

Great article…very insightful; contains tons of excellent advice for people out in any kind of job market!

I’ve wanted to tell you that I have been in the HR field for over 20 years and I receive upwards of 25 to 50 electronic newletters, tips of the day, etc on job search advice, but your column is one of the very few where I consistently see extremely useful, real-life ideas. Your conerstaional style of writing makes it easy to engage in the topic and your method of using life experiences as examples, no matter how small, is highly effective. You’ve found a wonderful way to humanize the process, which is something that I can see has gone by the wayside in our world of electronic everything!! Good for you!
