Great article, Harrison- I totally agree with you and could share many stories myself- I think I once read a story, maybe on old Japanese tale, where someone let all of the feathers out of a pillow (words) and was later unable to retrieve all of the feathers- When I’m talking to others, I try to remember that visual, and it helps me control what comes out a little better, even when I’m annoyed with someone. No matter what we do to try to smooth things over, we can never retrieve every little feather that was let loose- it’s impossible-Donna

Fatal Friction. This emphasizes the significance of ‘always seasoning your words with a grain of salt’. Sometimes we say words without thinking of the possible effect/s it could have either to the one we’re talking to or to those within hearing distance. By the time we realize the mistake, it’s too late to take things back. This is a very great article, Harrison. Thanks for sharing it. At least people like me who have read this will know better next time.

Yeah, words can definitely come back and bite you. I try to mindful of talking about people. We all make mistakes. But the thing is minimizing them. Great article.

It is sure that Fatal friction in our social life is very dangerous thing . But , this is a part of our life which anybody can ignore or solve it permanently.
So for a happy life the people around the world should avoid Fatal friction.
