What a timely article for me. I've been with the same small, but well established, firm for 12 years. I've felt stagnant for the past few months and just recently reached out to an attorney who started a firm 6 months ago with two colleagues. His firm practices in an industry that is going through tremendous change, and with their backgrounds they are in high demand and incredibly busy. Most exciting is their fresh approach to the practice and business of law. I have a lunch meeting with one of the partners on Friday, and am extremely enthusiastic about possibly "getting in on the ground floor" of their organization. Your article helped reinforce my decision to go with them, assuming I get the job!

Hello, I do enjoy reading your newsletter articles. The only problem I have sometimes is being hesitant to open up your email because I know the article is really long when most of the time only one important point is being made. Maybe I have ADD or something, but if the articles can be shorter I would read all of them. Unfortunately I only read a few when the title really interests me but wish I could read all of them.

Yes, indeed a marching employer can give you an immense opportunity to groom your own career line. Your dreams might not seem to be clear at begining if the employer is starting his expansion but who knows the next day. So the one who is on rapid expansion with proper action plans is a best employer and the leader of tommorow..!
