While it is possible to pretend to share values, it is not a comfortable situation as you clearly note It also takes a lot of energy.  Pretending to be someone you are not is hard work!</description>

We need all the new  ideas we can get and squelching dissent is counter-productive. There are ways to do it with aplomb, using sel-depracating humor, for example, but nonetheless, it is important to create a culture of openmindedness to encourage new solutions.</description>
