Once when I was in college the strangest thing happened. In my sophomore year my girlfriend’s best friend was struck by lightning when she was walking out of the dorms one day. The girl was taken by an ambulance to a hospital, where she spent a day or two recovering; she was understandably quite shaken by the entire incident. Around a month later she was walking from the library to the dorms and was about half a mile away from where she was hit by lightning.
