I was out of work for 12 months when my cousin, a senior QA Director at a major worldwide electronics firm, informed me of a senior level opening in their marketing department. He forwarded my resume to the HR dept and the hiring VP. In short, I was hired and couldn't be happier. Perhaps it's different in my case as my cousin and I rarely cross paths, working in different disciplines...and buildings. For me, this couldn't have worked out better. I’m not in the legal profession. I wish also, I had the guts to share the details, but I don't. To say that it was a mistake, would be an understatement of a lifetime, my lifetime. I continue to learn, even now. Thank you.
