I love the way you write! It seems to read exactly how you see things -- and is always refreshing (thank you).

Thank goodness the sun doesn't always shine, and the rain doesn't always fall, but without either, life would suffer. Without change, there is no progress. Change is the one thing that doesn't change. It just happens. Still, we resist - especially when it was unwanted. Life will go on with or without us. No institution or individual is exempt. We are all replaceable, and in the much bigger picture of life, we are all only small contributors - even in our finest moments.

Both businesses and people need to always strive for constant progress if they don't want to just disappear into history. Every person, product and industry has a life cycle, and change is the one thing that can add years to that life or shorten it. If you want security, you won't find it in a job or a title. It is arrogant to believe that you are untouchable. Security comes in knowing you are resilient, flexible, and you are able to find solutions to challenges. Businesses and individuals should always have back up plans, and we should always look for new opportunities.
