I'm hungry and I'm unhappy about that. Why? Maybe because I'm in a band and we do not get hired, so I have no money to buy food. Why do we not get hired? We are good people. We are great musicians. People like us and listen to us, but I was told by a club manager that we are old and they only hire young talent. Where does perception end and reality begin? My perception of myself is fine. To a great degree, I can't control how others perceive me, and that does affect me. This has happened with a lot of jobs in my life that I have applied for that required you to be in the public eye.
